Sheryl Ritchie
After earning a bachelor's degree in Environmental Plant Biology from Ohio University, Sheryl moved to Summit County Colorado to learn how to snowboard. Intending to stay for one winter, Sheryl stayed in Colorado for six years, snowboarding and managing a bookstore. It was her time working in the bookstore which sparked her love of literature and inspired her eventual return to school to pursue a Master's Degree in English.
Since completing her degree from Arcadia University in 2005, Sheryl has been teaching literature and writing at the college level and currently teaches at the University of Southern Maine.
Sheryl has lived in many areas of the country including Ohio, Colorado, suburban Philadelphia, and Maine, but considers herself a true Midwesterner at heart.
Sheryl became a first time mom in 2010.
Topics of interests are varied but include pop culture, Maine, travel, and parenting.
